What is Kantha quilt?
Kantha means "patched cloth" and the tradition of making something useful and alluring out of something discarded or unused. It also means the craft and stitch itself- a straight running stitch in Bengali embroidery in West Bengal, Tripura and Odisha as well as Bangladesh.
